Village idiom opened in Yarraville in 2000 and has continuously evolved over the years, becoming a favourite with local shoppers.They have a diverse range of unique gifts, jewellery, clothing and homewares from smaller makers and designers, so you will always find something interesting or unique.

Shopping in our bricks and mortar store should be an experience, not just a transaction. A lot of what we sell has a story, so you walk out with a treasure we are proud to tell you about. Elise the current owner has worked in the business for around 8 years and owned it for the last 3 and is passionate about the village, her store and the West in general having moved here from the inner north 14 years ago.

The store reflects the local population of creative and community minded people, their warmth and openness, and their pride in their status as westies!
