New Years Eve Fireworks
New Year's Eve 2025 - Entertainment
Say goodbye to 2025 with a family friendly alcohol-free event hosted by Myf Warhurst.
Visit Yarraville Cafes Delis and Restaurants before you head to Footscray Park to pack a picnic.
The night opens with a Welcome to Country followed by a powerful performance from Boonwurrung Ngargee Dance Group, a dynamic collective of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young women, fusing traditional and contemporary dance styles.
Country Struts then lights up the stage and get everyone moving with a line-dancing session, so dust off your boots and get ready to step in time.
Followed by rising musical force, Immy Owusu, with his signature Afrodelik sound. A vibrant blend of psychedelia, Zamrock, and West African Highlife delivers pure rhythm, and soul.
And the headliner – the legendary Mark Seymour! Known for his unmistakable voice and iconic songs with Hunters & Collectors like Throw Your Arms Around Me and Holy Grail, Mark’s music has become the soundtrack to generations of Australians.
At 9.30pm, enjoy a family-friendly fireworks display lighting up the night sky.
To close out the evening, DJ Andrew McLelland will fire up the dancefloor with a crowd-pleasing mix guaranteed to finish the night on a high.
Beyond the stage, enjoy roving performers, carnival rides, and games, offering plenty of entertainment for the whole family throughout the night.

“Being out on the road just for the sake of it is what it’s all about” he says “anniversaries are nice, but the road is where it happens. Night after night, sweaty, a little chaotic, unpredictable. Hand to hand combat”. He winks.
See you out on the road!
