Membership Eligibility & Register Membership is open to local businesses within the Yarraville precinct and surrounding area, subject to board approval. Members are recorded in a secure register, accessible per incorporated association rules. Members may request their details be restricted from inspection.
Fees & Payment Membership fees are annual, non-transferable, invoiced in advance, and non-refundable. Non-payment within 30 days may result in suspension or termination of membership.
Member Conduct & Compliance Members must abide by the Association’s Code of Conduct, model constitution, and all relevant legislation—including consumer protections, privacy, and anti-discrimination.
Benefits, Variation & Termination YBA may adjust member benefits or services with reasonable notice. YBA reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership for breach of conduct or constitutions. Resignation must be submitted in writing.
Liability & Insurance YBA is not liable for individual member’s business losses, promotional outcomes, or disputes. Members are responsible for their own insurance, including public liability or product coverage where required.
Privacy & Use of Member Data Member contact details may be used for communications and promotions, but personal or business data will not be shared externally without consent. YBA maintains confidentiality in accordance with privacy regulations.
Dispute Resolution & Governing Law Conflicts are handled through internal review, mediation, or board determination. These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria. Decisions by the YBA board are final.
