Inner West Symphony Orchestra
The Inner West Symphony Orchestra (IWSO) is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to enriching the community through live music.
Founded in 2023, the IWSO has grown rapidly into a diverse ensemble of more than 60 volunteer musicians of various ages and abilities, all brought together through a shared love of music.
Proudly based in Yarraville, we stage three major concerts each year at Williamstown Town Hall, led by artistic director Andrew Leach. In between, we collaborate with local creatives and community groups on a range of smaller ensemble performances.
We believe music is for everyone. With the support of Community Bank Seddon, we partner with local groups across Melbourne’s west to share the joy of our live concerts with those who might otherwise miss out.
Whether you join us on stage, in the audience or as a community partner, we can’t wait to share the music with you!
