By Car:

There are many roads that lead into the Yarraville Village and visitors coming from the Melbourne CBD are able to take either the Westgate Bridge Freeway (turn off at Williamstown Road) or Footscray Road from Docklands (Turn off at Whitehall st). There is also ample parking within the Yarraville Village with car parks behind the Sun Theatre (access via Murray St) or on Simpson St behind the shops.

By Train:

Yarraville railway station is perfectly located in the centre of the village area, 20 minutes from the Melbourne CBD. The station is serviced by all trains on the Williamstown line, but skipped by express services on the Werribee line and all Geelong V/Line services. The station is located near Anderson Street in Yarraville Village, access via Birmingham Street to the North (for trains heading towards the City), and Woods Street on the South (heading away from the City).

 

By Bus:

There are several bus routes that service the Village:

  • 223 Yarraville – Highpoint SC via Seddon, Footscray RS (every day).
  • 409 Highpoint SC – Yarraville via Victoria University Footscray, Footscray RS (every day).
  • 411 Footscray – Laverton via Geelong Road, Altona Gate SC, Altona, Altona Meadows (every day).
  • 412 Footscray – Laverton via Geelong Road, Altona Gate SC, Altona, Altona Meadows (every day).
  • 414 Footscray – Aircraft via Geelong Road, Laverton North (Monday to Saturday).
  • 432 Yarraville – Newport via Altona Gate SC (every day).
  • 431 Yarraville – Kingsville (Monday to Saturday).
  • 472 Moonee Ponds – Williamstown via Ascot Vale, Flemington Racecourse, Footscray, North Williamstown RS (every day).
